Ever since the release of Black Mesa, we've been getting more and more suggestions involving Black Mesa content as frame of reference, mostly concerning certain content found to be either absolutely brilliant or lacking.

We're expected to give an answer as to whether or not we will actually improve the parts that felt unsatisfactory, or include things that were appreciated.
Generally, this is it:

This means that our work, while in development, doesn't warrant any direct comparison to Black Mesa whatsoever.
All we can do concerning Black Mesa and related suggestions / requests is to take note and continue with what we've been doing. Of course we have played, enjoyed and studied the mod and we eagerly learn from whatever comes our way.
Other than that, we are a completely different team with a completely different vision, which means that our mods will
We don't share many Black Mesa-related issues and vice versa. Therefore the probability of lightning striking twice (figuratively speaking) is very low.
We are aware that large-scale comparison of the projects is inevitable; still our focus lies on re-imagining Opposing Force / Blue Shift in the best way we possibly can and it'll not shift towards "setting the bar higher than Black Mesa".
As much as some would like us to announce a "better" Black Mesa, that's never been what our projects are about.
We hope to create the best possible experience for you regardless of whether you have played Black Mesa or not.
