Have you ever thought about making a kickstarter or Patreon for Tripmine studios in order to be able to spend more time on the game? I see that you quite often write "real life gets in the way" or "we cant do it full time" when people ask for media or beta releases or similar. Maybe this could be a solution?
Patreon is especially good for this. There are a lot of artists, musicians and similar who do this (including artists that work 100% with creating fanart), so the whole thing about creating a remake of a game shouldnt be an issue. And if you guys did this, maybe it could help speed up development considerably.
